Complete Railway Turnout Solutions

ZAK supplies complete turnout and special-trackwork systems for siding and mainline applications. Each system can incorporate switches, frogs, guard rails, stock rails, closure rails, switch rods, gauge plates, fastening assemblies and turnout bearers to suit the required geometry and rail profile.

Available Configurations

• Left-hand and right-hand turnout sets.
• Standard crossing geometries of 1:6, 1:8, 1:9 and 1:12.
• Single-slip and double-slip systems.
• Track crossings, crossover arrangements and equal-split or lapped turnouts.
• Custom-engineered solutions for bespoke gauges and specialised surface-rail applications.

Rail Profiles and Track Gauges

• Compatible with rail profiles from 40kg/m to 60kg/m.
• Cape Gauge configurations at 1067 mm.
• International Standard Gauge configurations at 1435 mm.
• R260 and R350LHT rail-steel options for standard and heavy-haul duty.

Key Components

• Switch rails and machined stock rails.
• Rail-manufactured or rail-bound frogs with wing and check rails.
